Terra Therma has successfully supplied, installed and commissioned a CTC ECO Part 10,5kW Ground Source Heat Pump to a newly built family home in Essex. Clients Mr & Mrs Ault instructed Terra Therma to Design, Supply and install the Thermal Floor insulation, Wet Underfloor heating system and PP Fibre reinforced Sand and Cement screed to the ground floor and our bespoke routed Wood 22 floor heating system for the timber first floor. From start to finish Terra Therma has supplied a single point “one-stop” package!
The Swedish Ground Source Heat Pump was supplied and installed by Terra Therma; comprising of two horizontal ground loops laid to the rear of the property, the client opted to scrape back the entire area by a meter instead of digging 1 meter deep trenches. The compressor was seamlessly coupled to the 300ltr Domestic Hot Water Heat Pump Cylinder and space heating via our Underfloor heating system to both ground and first floor. The innovative Wood 22 system was used which not only provides a load bearing moisture resistance V313 chipboard but more importantly it provides a “JOINTLESS” 16mm PE-Xa underfloor heating system, specially designed to receive the lower temperatures supplied by Heat Pumps, unlike all other timber floor solutions currently available in the UK!
